We applied and were accepted for the March 2019 event. Midflo sent us a bill for $150 requesting payment to them, and sent directly to them.
Afterwards, we were notified that the event was cancelled. We thought our check would be returned, but it was cashed instead. Midflo has declined to issue a refund.
Desired Outcome: Refund

We do not have a vendor by the name of ****listed for the Atlanta event.
As the terms and conditions of the agreement have not been met, and nor has this person contacted me directly I feel like the complaint is without merit.
Sadly, people believe complaining publicly somehow negates a valid, legal agreement and it is sad that the BBB allows people to make these complaints without requiring the complainant to follow the terms of the legal agreement between both parties.

Your email with the application and remittance instructions was sent to ****, ****@att.net The remittance was from our company, ****Fleece does not sell in August. The substitution date is not acceptable. Please send $150 refund to either **** or ****.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
We submitted the E mail addressed to ****@att.net. It included an invoice with instructions to make check payable to Midflo and submit to an address other than ****.
We also submitted a copy of the cancelled check. The application was approved under the name ****. My husband, **** tried calling the number. The phone would ring, and then a recording saying that the voice mail was not set up.
We received NO notification of a rain date or anything else, although we have continued to request a refund. We are still requesting a refund from the March event. A conference call would not change any of these facts.
Plus, the phone # you gave, **** STILL is not answered and STILL has no voice mail set up.

This is nonsense. Our terms, conditions and event rules - all which must be checked by applicant - are clearly listed on the application/contract. We have still not verified complainant is an actual vendor, or if she has breached various terms of agreement.
Complainant refuses to contact event director or participate in a conference call.
What more can we do? Vendor is more than welcome to contact Ricky on 407 ******* if this is a genuine issue, but as of right now we have had our offers to resolve this matter rejected and we consider this a vexatious complaint. As far as we are concerned, the matter is closed unless somebody calls our event director.

Family purchased tickets in advance to an event promised by Midflo.
My family and I waited until 7pm (which is when it was advertised that the event would begin) and we were nowhere near the entrance to the park. We were stuck in horrible traffic (everyone trying to get to the event) with little progress as time continued to tick.
People from the previous day made the complaints of what we experienced on Saturday. So many of us had to leave because we never made it in time for the event, even with arriving early (before gates opened).
When I left complaints on their event site via Facebook, nothing changed or improved except that my comments of discontentment were deleted by the event people.
People reached out to me via direct messaging warning me that I would be blocked and all my comments deleted. This is unethical and wrong, to not allow customers to share their thoughts and opinions if they had a negative experience.
I was never contacted by Midflo and we lost our ticket money.
So many people have had to find unique ways to express the feelings that this event is behaving fraudulently. Over selling ticket prices, unable to accommodate large crowds in a timely manner, lack of direction and service provider and unable to receive a refund for poor outcome due to their disorganization and false advertising.

Desired Outcome
Other (requires explanation)
For the event company to be investigated. What they are doing is unethical and unprofessional. They are selling tickets without a cap, to ensure customers who pay, make the event. There were no distinctions between regular ticket holders and VIP parking when it came to entering the event site. They were allowing people to also pay at the 'gate? in the same line as those who prepaid. My family and I (two cars) spent 2 hours in line to park and never made it to the gate in time.

All of our events have a pre-sale capacity. If there is capacity, we do allow on the day sales. At this event, we had up to 20,000 car parking spaces available if needed. The traffic flow around the Homestead Miami Speedway is poor - every few hundred yards there are stop sign interchanges and people were blowing through them leading to some minor accidents which also resulted in traffic disruption.
To suggest that the event is any way responsible for the poor traffic in Miami that happens on a daily basis is unfair, and for somebody to make a complaint to the BBB when many thousands of people had a great time is saddening. There were also giant electronic road signs detailing VIP and General Parking - and for the people who had issues at the event that I spoke with, many admitted they had not looked at the giant electronic signs employed by the police.
There is a famous saying that says something about you can lead a horse to water, but you cannot make it drink. Despite having giant electronic road signs along the route and various other tools in place, we cannot force people to pay attention or to follow the clear instructions posted on the ticket, on the ticket sales website and on social media.

I do not accept nor agree with the response provided by Midflo.
In addition, following my initial complaint to the BBB, I was contacted by the event organizer via cell phone and I was threatened to be sued because of the complaint I filed with the BBB. The threats were so frightening and worrisome that I filed a police report with my local police department. I was contacted by others via Facebook who stated this same type of harassment was received after expressing and filing complaints of their own.
I know I never provided any personal information to anyone associated with Midflo and I was never contacted via the method in which I originally posted on (their ** event page).
After posting my displeasure with the event, my posts were deleted and I was blocked from communicating via the event page.
Finally, a refund was verbally offered via the same aforementioned threatening phone call I received. The refund was offered in the following words, verbatim, "send me your ticket and I will refund you. Then I'm going to give my lawyer your information because I'm going to sue you for libel".
He stated this was because I publicly posted my displeasure for his company and event. Fearing more threats, I instructed the threatening event organizer to never call me again, and hung up the phone. I then immediately called the police to file a police report. I showed the police the voice mail transcription from someone named "Ricky" who stated they read my BBB report. I also contacted the BBB and spoke with someone concerning what had transpired during the phone call.
